About:

The Human Biology Building is used to teach and train medical students, as well as for research into a whole range of health issues. The five-storey facility brings together the disciplines of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics. It was designed by award-winning architects, Scott Tallon Walker Architects, in conjunction with international design firm, Building Design Partnership.

The Human Biology Building is on South Campus, it is opposite the O'Donoghue Theatre and beside Áras na Mac Léinn.

Research is conducted in this building in the areas of regenerative medicine and stem cell research, cancer biology with an emphasis on breast and prostate cancer, as well as biomechanics and biomaterials.
