About:
The Alice Perry Engineering Building is home to the School of Science and Engineering and was officially opened in 2011. The School of Engineering consists of four disciplines: Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The building is named after Alice Perry, the first female to obtain an engineering degree in Europe.

Fun Facts:
The Alice Perry Engineering Building was the Public Choice in the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2012.
This building is four storeys and its 400 rooms will accommodate some 1,100 students and 110 staff.
