87% of NUI Galway Students said they would like more information about sexual health issues. Based on this feedback we have designed fun and engaging workshops exploring this topic.

 

 

What?  A 2-hour peer-lead workshop where students share their opinions about different topics relating to students’ sexual health (FREE)

• A fun, non-intrusive and interactive approach to exploring positive sexual health

• Students talk about what positive sexual health is and how it is expressed

• Peer discussions on the ‘grey area’ of sexual health 

• Safe, supportive environment with a trained group leader

• FREE FOOD and Refreshments!

• Lots of GREAT PRIZES to be won!!

 

Who? Students of all genders, ethnicities and sexual orientations are invited to take part.

 

What We Don’t Do? You are not asked any personal questions or to discuss your sexual experiences. No student is asked to contribute to a group discussion unless they feel comfortable doing so. No student is expected to be well informed about these topics in order to take part.

PORNOGRAPHY WORKSHOP 2pm-3pm. NUI Galway Students Union Boardroom, Upstairs, Aras na Mac Leinn

 

Facilitator: Kate Dawson, School of Psychology

This workshop will explore porn - the good and the bad, providing participants with the time and space to discuss the concerns and benefits of porn use, in a group setting. All welcome along, no need to book.
