Hi Everyone!!

 

My name is Niall, and I am the Community Connector here in NUI Galway. This is an exciting new role that focuses on working with students in a relaxed, friendly and non-directive manner, to help and support them in pursuing social interests both on, and off campus. 

As the role is purely student-focused, it is very much a collaborative process that can be undertaken in a more laidback manner, while at the same time remaining professional and strictly confidential.

 

The Community Connector hours are predominantly evenings, so students have an opportunity to meet at a quieter time of their day, while not interfering with classes and lectures.

 

There will also be a drop-in time between 2-4pm from Tuesday - Thursday each week in The Hub, Aras na Mac Leinn. If there are any questions you want to ask, suggestions for a meetup or activity, or just to say hello, call into me!
